AC Foundry, Inc. primarily uses the "Shell Core" core making process, but we can also provide CO2 capabilities for prototype and low production parts. With several qualified core suppliers, we have the ability to outsource and purchase cores when given production castings with existing tooling currently designed for CO2, SO2, Isocure, or Beta Set.
AC Foundry, Inc. is also equipped with one Redford-16 Automatic Shell Core Machine, and two Redford-43A Shell Core Machines. Cores are stored and transported utilizing multi-shelf carts to limit handling and damage. Together this equipment allows great flexibility in the size, quantity, complexity, and type of cores we can provide.
